Where every line of `SKILL.md` and the files beside it comes from. Each line added after 2026-10-07 names its memory, transcript or inventory row and its date.

## Sources of the skill as written through 2026-10-07

- Prototemplate: `deck/parts/head.html` (tokens, type, rows, book view, viewer chrome); `deck/DECK-GRAMMAR.md` (type, color, layout classes, "What a defect is"); DESIGN.md sections 1, 2, 3, 12, 15 and 16; BRAND.md sections 3, 5, 6 and 8; `docs/ARTIFACT-PICTURES.md`; `docs/SHIP-LOOP.md`; `src/components/viewer/tokens.css`; `scripts/lint/lines.mjs`; `scripts/check/pagecheck/`.

- Kevin, 2026-10-07: "fix the dossier references" (`references/verdicts.md`). gt-cloud #4213 built the production landing from the Dossier, and the redesign stack took that landing as canonical on 2026-08-11 (`docs/handbook/decisions.md`).

- Section 5, "Simplify, and keep the page", first bullet: Kevin's memory note `always-simplify` (written 2026-10-06 from gt-cloud #5191, the caption-card morph, merged 2026-10-07); system v2 inventory `memories.json` row "always-simplify", plan row N-8.
- Section 5, "Simplify, and keep the page", second bullet: Kevin's memory note `careers-team-photo` (2026-10-08, gt-cloud #5226, second pass); inventory `memories.json` row "careers-team-photo", plan row N-8. The note on "enhance fully" for new work: `docs/handbook/operating-principles.md` (Kevin, 2026-08-05), which the inventory row flags as a different instruction.
- Section 2's table moved to `references/verdicts.md`, the rhythm table to `references/measures.md`, and the local review, Kevin's asks, showing the work and the general skills to `references/process.md`, unchanged, to keep the body under the 24,000-byte budget (plan section 2.2).
- Related skills: `gt-verify` replaces `agent-browser` as the visual check, because GT sessions verify with Playwright probes (inventory `skills.json` row 38, plan row N-28). the isometric skill merged into `gt-diagrams` on 2026-10-10 (plan section 2.2).
