  1. Improve it for launch.

Launch is the most attention we will ever get at once. The site has to be ready to receive it.

  2. A brand beyond shadcn.

Today we look like the default theme. We need an identity that is unmistakably ours.

  3. Aura.

People should feel the quality before they read a single word.

First principles.

Before picking a look, pick the truths the site must serve.

A barbell audience.

Casual

Hobbyists and indie devs. Embraceable and comfortable: npm i gt-next and go.

the middle is thin, so design for the tails
Enterprise

Buyers and platform teams. Presence, trust, procurement-ready.

Both tails read the same signal:

INFRASTRUCTURE-GRADEFASTRELIABLE

Show, don’t define.

Nobody arrives knowing localization vs. translation vs. i18n, and we never make them learn it. The site demonstrates the difference instead.

The hardest thing to explain is the thing that keeps it consistent.

From guidelines to prototypes.

Rules before pixels.

  • Off-black and off-white base, four contrast levels.
  • Titanium accents; neon reserved for the one CTA.
  • Square corners and hairline rules. No glass, no shadows.
  • One shader family per visual, grain after gradient.
  • The product is the picture: input → GT → output.

Structure first, texture last.

Color behaves like light, not paint.

One spectral band per page: a controlled edge, never a wash.

One family, every weight: Inter carries the voice.

Every technique answers a question.

What changed? Where did it go? What is automated? Motion is explanation, never ambience.

Fun fact: We were using the wrong Inter.

The Inter that Google Fonts serves is not quite the Inter that Rasmus Andersson ships. The official build keeps its OpenType features; the hosted one quietly drops most of them. Same name, different font.
