Google User Data

This section describes how General Translation accesses, uses, stores, and shares data obtained through Google APIs (“Google user data”) when you use our Google Workspace add-on for Google Docs and Google Slides or a connected Google Drive integration. This section supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy; in the event of a conflict regarding Google user data, this section and the Google API Services User Data Policy control.

Data Access. With your authorization, we access:

  • Your Google account identifier and email address, to authenticate you and connect the add-on to your General Translation account;

  • For a connected Google Drive integration, the Google Drive files within that integration’s authorized scope.
